Who I Am

My photo
Sarah Monroe
Montesano, WA, United States
I am a priest in the Episcopal Church-- a pastor, a preacher, and a writer. I grew up in rural Washington state and have returned to the land I call home. A self-described redneck, I grew up on a small farm, learned to drive on back country roads, and wear jeans to cocktail parties (as long as there is free food). I am dedicated to organizing community and building a culture of reconciliation and liberation. I envision a world where my people are heard, where wounded people are reconciled, where the land is treasured, where real wealth is abundant, and where communities are vibrant.
